THE ART OF WILLIE STEYN

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my world of art and thank you for allowing me to share my passion with you.

I am a visual artist, born near Cape Town, South Africa, in 1961. I have been working from my studio in Cape Town for a number of years.

I mainly work in oil. I love its texture, versatility, and how it allows one to dare, explore and fix mistakes.  

Capturing human emotions, day-to-day activities, and the city I live in, are what I enjoy painting most. I love capturing dramatic sunlight and the play of light, shadow and reflecting light. I also love doing portrait commissions and all the challenges associated with it.

BUYING MY ART

Anyone interested in purchasing any of my work will be provided with a quote on request. All prices quoted will include the delivery costs, as well as insurance, where applicable. 

All purchased work will be shipped on receipt of full payment by EFT (banking detail will be supplied). All work is sold unframed. A certificate of authenticity and/or a valuation will be provided on request.
